A3BC (Anti-War, Anti-Nuclear, and Arts Block-print Collective) is a group that
collaboratively creates woodprints focusing on anti-war and anti-nuclear issues. It was
officially founded in August 2014, Tokyo, Japan.
Since 2014, we have been making blockprint art to envision a world without war, nuclear
weapons, genocide, and other injustices. By creating original art pieces and conducting
workshops, we hope to find possibilities for a new blockprint movement in which art,
media, and people can be united together. Through the creation of zines, we will explore
new possibilities for the print movement to bring media back to print and create a mix of
art, media and the public.
